REGIONAL MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT
Wool / Alpaca Denim Program
Locally grown. Produced in the U.S. Milled in New England.
Farm forward sourcing with regenerative impacts, available in small quantities.
We’re excited to introduce our first cooperative fiber pool, making Climate Beneficial™ Verified textiles more accessible to small brands, makers, and artisans through shared purchasing opportunities below minimum order quantities (MOQs).
In collaboration with California Fibershed and American Woolen Company, we are developing a heavyweight wool/alpaca denim using regionally sourced, Climate Beneficial™️ fiber from farms in Nevada, Montana, & New York.
The project operates as a cooperative model, engaging partners across the full value chain - from farm to finished cloth - to strengthen regional processing capacity, expand Climate Beneficial™ fiber systems, and rethink conventional textile sourcing models.
This project supports how cross-regional collaboration can build traceable, regional textile systems and scalable cooperative models by partnering with farmers, mills, and designers across regions to advance transparent, regenerative textile supply chains.

This denim is Climate Beneficial™ Verified (CBV).
CBV is a regenerative agriculture program that supports farmers with planning, technical assistance, soil testing, and peer learning, while verifying outcomes in soil health, carbon sequestration, water systems, and biodiversity through on-farm data and environmental monitoring.
The Climate Beneficial™ Verification is recognized nationally as an industry standard through the Textile Exchange and related brand partners.
